Almost anything! I've done moose buffalo and longhorned Cattle all the way down to small critters such as weasels.

I do not currently clean Big Horn Sheep

Before the cold and freeze comes I get skulls back to their people in under 3 days! When it's cold and snowy out you can still expect to have them back in under 2 weeks!

The Process

Skinning and Deboning

First thing done in preparation is skinning and removing the lower jaw and neck if needed.

Rehydrating

Next is rehydrating the skull if needed. This is the longest part of the process and is done when the flesh and oils have dried up into the skull caused by taking the skin off the head too early. The oils then need to be drawn out to get a perfect white skull which can take up to 3 days

Wrapping the Antlers

Done so the antlers don't get bleached

Boiling and Bleaching

Then the skulls are boiled cleaned off and bleached and ready to dry

Drying and Finishing

Then it's set in front of a fan overnight or 24hrs to dry then coated to seal in the bone and ready to be picked up!
